Stay a while.
Open from April to November.
A stay at Johnson’s Beach is a transportive experience. Whether you’re staying in our Classic Beach Lodge, a Historic Bungalow or Tiny Cabin or even a tent
All our accommodations feature inspired amenities, like Malin + Goetz Bath Products, custom furniture by Adi Goodrich and Parachute linens. Plus, redwood views and river sounds, from every room on site.
Historic Bungalows
Built in the 1920s, our historic bungalows are teeming with iconic charm. Timber-framed and chock full of local art, each bungalow comes with its own private deck and bathroom — and a few have kitchenettes. Queen beds or two doubles. Your choice.
Tiny Cabins
We built these custom tiny cabins with you (and your plus one) in mind. All the things you need, and none of the stuff you don’t — hardwood floors, a king bed, a tiny kitchen with a mini-fridge, and your own bathroom with shower, plus a fire pit and a picnic table. Fits two people comfortably.
The Canvas Cabanas
Our Canvas Cabanas are built on wooden slats milled from local Redwood. Each cabana shelters you with hardy canvas, and features a queen bed with luxury linens, a front porch (some with river views, all with river sounds), fire pit, and picnic table. Shared bathrooms and showers. You could call it “glamping” (just not within earshot).
Camping
On over three acres of Sycamore-shaded meadow, our ten camping spots offer easy access to the river in the daytime and the stars above at night. All sites feature picnic tables, firepits, access to the communal bath house, laundry facilities, and dish sink.
The Beach Lodge
For extended families, soccer teams, best friends, and the like — the historic Beach Lodge is our big group option. Built in 1920, it has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, full kitchen, and can sleep eight people comfortably, nine if you’re cozy. Rich in art and character, with nice views of old-growth trees to boot.
