The first season under new ownership for Johnson’s Beach is just around the corner and we’re excited about what the summer will bring. We know that Johnson’s Beach fans have been making summer memories along the Russian River for decades, so we were thrilled to be approached for an interview by The Press Democrat regarding the change of ownership to the property. It was an opportunity to let Johnson’s fans know that what they love about Johnson’s Beach is what we love about it as well and that our goal is to maintain those summer traditions that have been such a big part of Guerneville’s history.\r\n\r\nOur goal is to maintain the same Russian River fun with canoes, kayaks, inner tubes, beach chairs, umbrellas, natural kiddie pool, snack bar and more, at affordable prices so that locals can enjoy all that our beautiful location has to offer. We’ll be making some cosmetic upgrades to our accommodations so that in just 90 minutes from the Bay Area, visitors can enjoy our campground, lodge and rustic cabins with easy access to both the Johnson’s Beach facilities and charming downtown Guerneville and the surrounding Sonoma County.\r\n\r\nWe have also made some exciting technical changes to help you enjoy your visit even more. Our newly upgraded website is full of easily accessible information about Johnson’s Beach and the Guerneville area. It also allows users to take advantage of our new online reservations system or visit our online store for Johnson’s Beach merchandise with everything you need for summer fun.\r\n\r\nRead the full article from The Press Democrat and watch for more information about Opening Day at Johnson’s Beach, tentatively planned for Memorial Day weekend.\r\n\r\nRead more from the Johnson’s Beach blog.
